BOOKING TERMS

A clear plan for your day.

Version 22 October 2026. These terms apply to online bookings.

Dates and location

Online checkout reserves the selected day after payment, subject to Angie reviewing the address and any studio needs. One client is booked per day. If travel is too far or a suitable private studio cannot be arranged before your first session, Angie will offer another arrangement or cancel and refund all payments for that booking in full. We will not treat a location as confirmed before that review. A studio is not reserved at checkout.

Payment

A private portrait day is A$2,000, plus A$500 if a studio is needed. If the date is more than 30 days away when you book, an A$500 deposit is due first, plus the studio fee if selected; the remaining A$1,500 is due seven days before the session. Otherwise the full amount is due at booking. A four-session project is A$7,000, with A$2,000 due for session one. A studio adds A$500 per session. After session one, you have 48 hours to choose whether to continue for A$5,000, plus studio fees for the remaining sessions if selected. If you stop, there is nothing further to pay.

If plans change

You may request one date change without a fee by emailing Angie at least seven days before the affected session, subject to a suitable new date being available. Please email as soon as possible if you need another change or to cancel. We will first try to find another suitable date. If that is not possible, we will discuss a refund based on work already performed and any genuine, non-recoverable venue or travel costs disclosed to you. We will not charge a blanket cancellation fee. If Angie cannot deliver your booked date before the first session, she may propose another available date. Your paid original date stays reserved until you accept the replacement. You can instead cancel and receive a full refund of all payments for that booking. An Angie-initiated change does not use your one free customer-requested change. If Angie must cancel after a session has been delivered, you can choose a new date or a refund for the affected unprovided session. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Your portrait

Angie will guide your drawing, but the result depends on the reference and your starting point. A finished or gift-ready portrait is an aim, not a guarantee. Please bring or share a clear reference photo you have permission to use. Angie will discuss materials and setup before the session.
